The TOO DARN HOT Band
The 5 members of the band have played for top shows all over the world, have recorded sessions for nearly everyone - from Michael Crawford to Lesley Garratt, Sting to the Spice Girls, and Basil Brush to the Two Ronnies! They have performed with such icons as Elton John, Shirley Bassey and Cleo Lane, and play regularly with the BBC Big Band, the LSO and the RPO, to name but a few.

Tansy has been in the business for over a decade and has worked on over 40 shows as a Musical Director and Pianist, in the West-End and on national and European tours. Shows include Scrooge, Phantom of the Opera, Fame, Superstar, Les Miserables, Beauty & the Beast, La Cage aux Folles, Evita and Cats to name a few. She has also been an MD and pianist at the National Theatre on such critically acclaimed productions as The Princes Play, Amy's View and Closer. Tansy has made numerous recordings for Film, TV and Radio, and is signed to EMI, along with her composing partners, Steve and Mike who are also in the Too Darn Hot band.Andy started playing the guitar aged nine; first classical and then electric. Achieved a Graduate Diploma in Jazz & Light Music (First Class) at Leeds College of Music. Andy enjoys the guitar in all its shapes and forms (including the banjo!) and has accompanied many famous names on television, the stage and in the studio, including: Tony Christie, Gene Pitney, and comedians Little & Large for whom he was Musical Director. Having been in and around the West-End for some twenty years now, Andy has played a lot of shows including Saturday Night Fever, Full Monty and Thoroughly Modern Millie.
Mike is one of the country's best known drummers, and played with the BBC Big Band for 10 years. He has had the pleasure of working with many of the top names in the business including Sting, Elton John, Cleo Lane, Shirley Bassey, Evelyn Glennie, Larry Adler, Georgie Fame, George Shearing and John Williams to name a few. He has also worked extensively in the West End, on shows including, Hot Shoe Shuffle, Beauty and the Beast, The Witches of Eastwick, Mamma Mia, Chicago and Guys and Dolls. Mike has recorded numerous albums and played on many of the major movie soundtracks.
As a top TV session musician, Steve has worked extensively for the BBC, LWT, and Granada Television, and was the Bass player for BBC's Pebble Mill at One. With over 30 years in the business, Steve has worked with a huge array of artists - too many to mention, but they range from Shirley Bassey to The Spice Girls, Ruthie Henshall to Michael Ball, George Mellie to Gerard Kenny, and Basil Brush to Ronnie Corbit! He has also played for many of the top West End Shows, and has played with the LSO, the RPO and the BBC Radio Orchestra.
