SCHERZO MUSIC is the award winning composing team of Steve Richardson and Tansy Aked. Since forming this partnership in 2000, they have written extensively for Film, TV and Theatre, and are published by EMI Music.
They have composed soundtracks for multi award winning films; written music for the BBC, Channel 4, ITV, Channel 5 and Sky (to name a few); scored music for USA documentaries; composed tracks for Hollywood film trailers; written and arranged music for numerous theatre productions; have an album out with EMI; and their jingles have been heard all over the world.
As full time professional musicians (Steve is one of the leading session Bass Players in the country, and Tansy is a West-End Musical Director and Pianist), they make a unique and exciting team. With their vast experience of composing, arranging and performing in every medium and style of music, they are one of the most versatile teams around!
